recurring boil at same spot  is a sign of one of the following,  incomplete healing, lack of prevention measure and poor hygiene.

Incomplete healing
A boil in the same spot means, the boil is not healed completely, when a boil is not completely healed it will keep, appearing at the same place.
Incomplete medication
this is most of the time due to incomplete medication, this is when you started taking antibiotics and ignored your treatment before undergoing full prescription.
Just because you saw the symptoms disappearing.
 When a prescription is not taking completely, symptoms may go, temporary healing may appear but,
the bacteria may not die completely, when this happens,
the infection will keep coming back at that same spot.
Poor body cleanliness and hygiene
Boils infection can keep coming back if you are poor in personal cleanliness and hygiene. Boils is cause by staph bacteria, when this bacteria is not prevented through cleanliness and hygiene, it will keep coming back, for example a boil at the armpit, will keep coming back even if healed completely. This is  because , the armpit is hairy, moist and dirty.
 When the armpit is not properly taken care of, bacteria can easily get back and infection continues.

 What cause multiple boils at the same time

 A boil at a spot can cause more boils to appear at that same spot. When you allow , the pus coming out from that spot without cleaning.  the fluid coming out from a boil is full the staph bacteria, when this bacteria get into your  skin, more boils will break out.
 The best to prevent boil from multiplying or should I say  more boil from coming out from same spot is to prevent the pus coming out the boils from torching other body part.
